(I recommend this place because the surrounding infrastructure is better than the quality of the hotel.)

● How to get to Hotel midcity Myeongdong Seoul. (Seoul Myeongdong Hotel)
The hotel is located between Euljiro and Myeongdong.
It is located in a central location that is convenient for going anywhere in Seoul.
It takes about 5 minutes to walk from Exit 1 of Euljiro 1-ga Station on Subway Line 2 to the hotel.
Get off at Euljiro 1-ga Station on Subway Line 2.
Go to the Exit 1.
Exit 1 is very convenient because it has both an escalator and an elevator.
After exiting exit 1, go straight.
There is a Hana Bank building on the right, so turn right here.
It took about a minute to get here.
Enter the narrow alleyway shown in the photo.
That alleyway is lined with delicious restaurants.
Just keep walking straight ahead.
After walking for about 3 minutes, you will reach a 4-way intersection.
Turn left here

If you are taking airport bus number 6002,
You can take bus number 6002 from Incheon Airport.
For Terminal 1, please wait at 5B-4 in front of Gate 6.

After boarding, get off at Jongno 1-ga.
It takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes from Incheon Airport to Jongno 1-ga.
After getting off, it takes about 10 minutes to walk to the hotel.

There are two elevators in front.
The front desk is on the left, and there is a waiting area next to it.
The waiting area is comfortable.

Check-in time is 3pm
Check-out time is 12pm.
We were assigned to room 18 on the 6th floor.

As soon as you enter, there is a minibar, refrigerator, and slippers on the left, and a bathroom on the right.
The quality of tea and coffee in the minibar was good
There is a safe and a small refrigerator underneath it
Inside the refrigerator…
There is an ice bucket and 3 bottles of water.
And there are disposable slippers on the right.
The slippers are thin, but quite sturdy.
There are four hangers.
The bathroom is small but very clean.
The law regarding disposable items has changed in Korea.
Starting in April 2024, hotels will no longer provide disposable toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors, etc.
There are soap, shampoo, and body gel.
The toilet is a bidet.
There are 3 large towels, 3 small towels, and 1 foot towel.
The shower room is a little small, but clean.
The bed was very clean
If you have a baby, install a bed guard.
The view outside the window is a city view.
This is a Samsung Smart TV.
YouTube and Netflix are available. (Netflix ID required)
There is a charging cord in the outlet between the beds.
There is a power outlet in the middle of the bed.
It is difficult to put two beds together.
There is a desk and a sofa.
It was nice to have a light meal on the sofa.

Two room card keys are provided.
We made a hotel reservation that included two meal tickets.
It feels more like a business hotel than a luxurious family hotel.
There was no bathroom smell, and the bed was very clean.
However, the sofa area was a bit lacking in cleaning.

There is a water purifier on each floor.
You can drink as much water as you want, and ice is also provided.
There is a gym on the second floor.
The facilities are well maintained.

Basic laundry is 3,000 won.
Detailed instructions are on the wall.
There is a public restroom on the 2nd floor.
It is convenient to use when you need to use the restroom urgently.
There is a restaurant right next to the restroom.
There are 2 elevators, but only the left one can go to the rooftop.
The rooftop is nicer than I thought.
The scenery was even more beautiful than I thought!
But we are traveling in late July, the hottest month in Korea.
It is really, really hot and humid.
Now, I will show you the restaurant.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is not like a typical hotel breakfast,
but more like a bar-style pub.
A high chair is provided, but the table is so high that the child feels like he or she is eating separately from below.
Scrambled Eggs and Curried Tofu Ham
Fried rice, soup, Korean spicy soup and rice

Milk, apple juice, orange juice
There are several types of bread, including croissants and whole wheat bread.
Water and coffee
Personally, I don’t recommend the breakfast.
It didn’t meet my standards.
I think it would be better to raise the breakfast price a little more to improve the quality of the food.

There are so many restaurants around the hotel
Among them, we went to the famous Bugeo-guk restaurant and
BBQ Village
If you come out of the hotel and go to the left for 1 minute, there is a famous Bugeo-guk restaurant.
It’s a minute away and the taste is good.
Since it’s a famous restaurant, I avoided busy times.
We visited at 2pm.
There are side dishes hidden on the table~
This is a restaurant that boils pollack in soup.
There is only one menu, so the food comes out automatically even if you don’t order it.
It costs about $7.30 per person.
Rice and soup for 2 adults are provided.
Free refills available.
Children’s rice and soup are provided free of charge~
But there are no baby chairs
You can taste the rich and deep taste of fish soup!
It is about 3 minutes from the hotel to Cheonggyecheon.
There is a bbq chicken restaurant right next to Cheonggyecheon.
After ordering the menu at the kiosk,
sit at the table you were directed to and wait for your food.
Luckily, I was assigned a room.
You must pick up your ordered food yourself.
You will receive an alarm on your phone when the food is ready!
I recommend the bbq chicken, which is 5 minutes away from the hotel.
But!!
It might be a little spicy for foreigners,
so ask the staff for a less spicy menu.

Cheonggyecheon is about 3 minutes away from the hotel.
The atmosphere is good, so it’s good for taking pictures.
There is a HIKR ground about 3 minutes walk from the hotel.
We take photos and videos with changing lights and music in a subway concept.

I liked taking pictures and videos by changing the stage background and music as I pleased.
If you change the music yourself and shoot the video, you can create your own music video~
This stage has a laundry shop concept.

You can change the entire background to your computer.
It consists of 5 floors in total,
most fun K-pop experiences can be had on the 2nd floor,
the 3rd and 4th floors are a bit quieter,
and there is a donut shop on the 5th floor.
It’s a very close tourist course to the accommodation

If you walk a little further from the first subway station you got off at, Euljiro 1-ga, you will reach Myeongdong.
It takes about 15 minutes to walk from the hotel to Myeongdong.
There is a Lotte Department Store in the middle of the way, so it is good for taking a quick look around and eating.
When the weather is hot or cold, moving indoors is a must!

There’s a K- ramyun restaurant~
It’s right in front of Exit 9 of Myeongdong Station on Subway Line 4.
It’s a store with a fun concept.

Advantages
- There was no bathroom smell.
- The toilet was a bidet.
- The bathroom was clean.
- The bed was in good condition.
- The TV quality was good.
- The room was soundproofed well.
- It was nice that there was a desk and a small table.
- The air conditioner and small refrigerator worked well.
- The tea in the minibar was good quality.
- There are many good restaurants around the hotel.
- There are many tourist attractions around the hotel.
- It is located 4-5 minutes away from the subway.
- The rooftop is nice.
- It is okay to walk around at night.
Disadvantages
- The bathroom is small.
- The bathroom is not soundproof.
- The refrigerator is small.
- The sofa and cushions were not cleaned well.
Because the advantages outweigh the disadvantages
