Hello, this is Loah’s dad!!!
Today, July 15, Korea’s strong rainy season has been raining heavily for several days.
Actually… I want to show only good things about Korea!!!
But, I write honestly because I want to show the truth to people who are traveling.
Our family always writes the stories we have experienced first hand!!!
Did you see my previous post about checking the weather before traveling to Korea?
Check out the information I wrote above!
Anyway, it’s been raining a lot in Korea lately.
From the end of June to the end of July, there are a lot of cloudy and rainy days.
Luckily, it looks like the rain will stop on July 20th.
But!!! During the rainy season, the weather forecast keeps changing.
Korea’s strong rainy season has been raining heavily for several days.
It rained harder than expected, and the streets were flooded in some areas.
Not all areas look like this,
but there are some areas in Seoul and some areas in the provinces
severe level.

Korea’s strong rainy season has been raining heavily for several days.
The news has been warning of the dangers for days.
Avoid traveling to South Korea between the end of June and the end of July,
But if you must, here are some tips!
- The center of Seoul has never been flooded.
The center of Seoul, including Myeongdong, Chungmuro, Hongdae, Jongno, Sinchon, and Dongdaemun, is not flooded.
However, you should be careful in the fringes of Seoul and Gangnam. - Avoid visiting the countryside during the rainy season.
South Korea is 70% mountainous. Especially in the countryside, there are landslide risk areas - It can be a week without rain.
The rainy season moves back and forth between the metropolitan area and the southern part of the country every two to four days.
It is not raining continuously, but a large rainstorm is concentrated in the metropolitan area for 2 to 4 days.
It rains, then it goes down to the south, then it comes back up and repeats. - Especially in the metropolitan area, umbrellas and raincoats are sold everywhere, and there are many places where you can escape the rain in between.
There are a lot of places where you can get out of the rain in between, especially indoor rides and places where you can spend time indoors.
I feel like I wrote a bad post for you guys!
But I wanted to at least inform foreigners who don’t know Korea.
many Koreans go to school, work, and play in this situation.
Don’t worry about it too much
Korea is a highly developed country, and it is convenient to have quick first aid in case of an emergency and well-equipped amenities
((Actually, it is a good country to live in if you have a lot of money hahaha))
We’ve been keeping you up to date on the rainy season in Korea!
When the rain weakens a bit, I will visit Loah and the following places to
I’ll let you all know~ Bye!
