● Introducing Splas Resom Hot Spring Water Park

This place takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes by direct bus from Seoul.
It is a hot spring located in the Yesan area, near Onyang Hot Spring, which we introduced previously.
The water quality here is also exceptionally good.

We visited in January, the coldest month in Korea.
Even in temperatures as low as –10°C (14°F), we were able to enjoy the hot springs with our child while creating content.

With the fun outdoor activities and the cozy indoor spaces, it’s a place that people of all ages, from children to seniors, can enjoy comfortably.
Since we’ve visited many hot springs across Korea, we understand both the strengths and weaknesses of different hot spring facilities.
We’ll share more detailed information in the sections below.
● Location of Splas Resom Hot Spring Water Park

As someone who has traveled abroad frequently, I know how valuable it is to have a direct bus without transfers.
It takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes from Seoul to Splas Resom Hot Spring Water Park.
● How to Get to the Splas Resom Hot Spring Water Park

From Express Bus Terminal Station on Subway Lines 3 and 7,
you are directly connected to Central City Express Bus Terminal.
From here, there is a direct bus to Splas Resom.

Because the terminal is connected to the subway, it is very easy to find,
and you can go straight to the hot springs from here, which is very convenient
(about 2 hours).
The final destination is Splas Resom (via Yesan Terminal).

You can also make reservations online in advance.
English, Japanese, and Chinese are supported.
Website address: https://www.kobus.co.kr/main.do

Departure: Seoul Central City
Arrival: Yesan, Chungcheongnam-do

There are Premium buses and regular buses, with a small difference in price.
Adult Premium – 12,700 KRW, Adult Economy – 8,700 KRW
For example, when selecting the 7:10 AM Premium bus from Seoul,

the final fare for 2 adults and 2 children was 38,200 KRW.
Economy buses are more affordable.
In general, you can also purchase tickets directly at the terminal.
The bus makes one stop at Yesan Terminal before arrival,
but continues directly to the final destination, Splas Resom.
For this reason, it is the most convenient transportation option for foreign travelers.
The travel time is about 1.5 hours at the fastest, and up to 2 hours depending on conditions.

● Splas Resom Hot Spring Water Park Review
● Indoor (Splas Resom Hot Spring Water Park)

Before checking in to the resort, we decided to use the water park first.
Tickets are checked here before entering.
The inspection for outside food was not strict.

받Take the electronic key you receive and move to the shoe lockers located right in front.
Please store your shoes and lock the locker (make sure to check the locker number).

Following the flow, go down one floor and you’ll find the men’s and women’s saunas.
You can rinse off briefly, change into your swimsuit in the locker room, and then enter the water park.
Alternatively, you can change into your swimsuit in the locker room and head directly into the water park.

The indoor area is not affected by the weather and allows you to enjoy a variety of hot spring pools.

You can rent a sunbed to rest, but it’s not strictly necessary.
In Korea, even if you leave your belongings in an open area, no one will steal them.

The large central pool features various underwater massage functions.
In front of the women’s sauna, there is a toddler pool and a children’s pool.

Considering the overall size of the facility, the toddler and children’s areas feel somewhat small and limited.
However, the facilities are very well maintained, clean, and in excellent condition.

We visited in January, the coldest month, and indoors there were many infants, young children, and elderly guests.
For infants and toddlers, it’s a good idea to prepare a swim tube in advance.

You can enjoy various event-style underwater massage features.
There is an indoor children’s slide, but only children under 140 cm in height are allowed to use it.
Among all the hot spring water parks we’ve visited, this place had the fewest activity facilities.

The depth of the large indoor hot spring pool is about 1.2 meters.
Children under 150 cm must be accompanied by a guardian.

Currently, only a Korean-language discount link is available.

Children under 140 cm are required to wear a life jacket in the large indoor hot spring pool.
For adults, a cap-style hat is allowed instead of a traditional swim cap.

There are restaurants where you can enjoy a variety of meals.
At the restaurant, payments are charged to the number key you received at entry.
You settle the final payment after finishing the sauna and retrieving your shoes when exiting.
Shall we move on to the outdoor facilities now?
Actually, we used the outdoor facilities first.
Since it was winter, the cold hits you the moment water touches your body, so we went straight outside and enjoyed the activities from the beginning.

There are two main ways to access the outdoor area.
From the first floor, you can naturally exit through the large glass doors that are clearly visible.
If you go out this way, you can only access a few event hot spring pools and the wave pool.
That’s why I recommend going up to the second floor from the indoor area instead.

From the indoor hot spring area, going up to the second floor naturally connects you to the outdoor activity zone.
Straight ahead, you’ll find two types of slides.
Through the glass doors on the opposite side, you can access the lazy river.
● Outdoor ( Splas Resom Hot Spring Water Park)

After going up to the second floor, exiting through the door straight ahead leads to the slides, and there is also an outdoor staircase that goes down to the first floor.
If you exit through the door directly behind you, you’ll find the lazy river.

As soon as you open the back door, the lazy river comes into view.
Let me show you the lazy river first.

You can enter the lazy river right away.
Both adults and children are required to wear a life jacket and use a tube.
Tubes are freely available for use.
For young Loah, we used a baby tube that we brought with us.

he current is moderately fast, making it enjoyable for everyone from young children to seniors.
The water depth is approximately 1 meter.
The water was very warm, so it was comfortable even during the cold winter.

Right next to the lazy river, there is a warm event spa,

and beside it, there is a water slide that can only be used by children under 120 cm.
On the opposite side of the staircase mentioned earlier, you can ride two different slides.

Since it was the winter shoulder season, there weren’t many visitors, and the wait time was about 10 minutes.
Children under 120 cm are not allowed to ride these slides.
Both slides are designed for two riders only, so you must ride with two people.
The combined weight limit is:
- Green Tornado Blaster: up to 160 kg
- Yellow Galaxy Blaster: up to 180 kg
In addition, for the Tornado Blaster, if one rider weighs more than twice the other rider’s weight, the ride is not allowed.

Unlike many other hot spring slides in Korea, filming was allowed here.
We plan to upload a separate video featuring the slides, so please check it out if you’re interested.

This is a photo taken while riding the Galaxy Blaster. ( Splas Resom Hot Spring Water Park)

Between the first and second floors outdoors, there are various hot spring pools where you can watch people coming down the slides.

We have visited many hot springs in Korea, so we’re able to make comparisons.
The hot spring water here is high quality and the pools are spacious, which is great, but compared to other places, there are no particularly unique event pools.

When you go down to the first floor, you’ll find a life jacket rental area, restrooms, and another hot spring pool.

There is also a wave pool. The waves are strong, but the overall size is relatively small.
The depth is slightly deeper than at other hot springs.
Bringing in tubes or toys is not allowed.

These are the attraction operating hours at the time of our visit.
They show the operating times for four attractions: the two slides mentioned earlier, Hydro Spin (not photographed), Stream River, and Aqua Storm.
Stream River refers to the lazy river, and Aqua Storm refers to the wave pool.
Black-colored sections indicate inspection times or closing times.

Currently, only a Korean-language discount link is available.
