What Loah’s Dad Thinks Recommended for kids from 12 months to 8 years old. It’s smaller than I expected, but it’s neat and has a lot of things to do. It’s a great way to entertain your little ones while sightseeing in Korea..
It takes about 5 minutes on foot from Exit 4 of Myeongdong subway station.
It is located in the downtown area, so it is easy to find.
If you have a stroller or a lot of luggage and find the stairs difficult, you should take the elevator in front of Exit 1.
There is an elevator in front of Exit 1. However, you’ll have to walk back towards Exit 4 for about 3-4 minutes.
You’ll need to get off the elevator and walk backwards.
You don’t have to turn left, you don’t have to turn right, you can just walk straight out of exit 4 and after about five minutes, you’ll see this building on your left.
That’s right. It’s the Seoul Animation Center.
It’s so close and easy to find that I won’t say much more about it.
If you’re traveling by car, you can park in an apartment building just above the Animation Center.
You can park for free for 90 minutes.
This is what the Seoul Animation Center looks like.
We are visiting with our 13-month-old, Loah, and our 9-year-old nephew.
This is the view from the entrance.
The day we visited is a Saturday at 12:00, when there are the most people.
There’s a ticket machine right in front of you.
It’s not difficult, and there are even two people next to it to help you.
We paid 6,000 won for my nephew who is a free baby and 4,000 won each for two adults for a total of 14,000 won.
It’s not as hard as you might think, so don’t be intimidated.
If you have a baby under 36 months, it’s a good idea to have a card to prove it.
There’s a stroller parking lot next door where you can park your stroller for a while.
You park the stroller, take out your important items, and enter the entrance with your child.
We have free lockers.
If you have something important to take with you, drop it off here.
Bags that are too heavy make us tired.
Stroller parking and lockers are very close together.
It’s a small place and you can tell right away.
There is a Tayo bus and a variety of characters that you can see right when you enter.
All the kids squeal and admire it as soon as they enter.
Yeah…. I screamed too hahahaha
This is so cute Loah.
Is she 13 months old really?
The first thing I do is go for a ride on the Tayo Kart.
Sometimes they take a break, but they keep going.
Ages 8 and up can ride alone,
Children under 8 must ride with an adult.
It’s fun, but it’s smaller than you might think.
I’m making my own animation with my mom
After moving the character by hand,
take pictures of them
and stitch them together to create an animation.
This is where you can color your character.
You can do this at your leisure, even on weekends when there are lots of people.
It’s probably more relaxed on weekdays.
Unfortunately, there are no instructions in English,
but there are guides everywhere and they explain things well.
I can’t see my 9 year old nephew when I’m with Loah.
Hahaha.
After all, the boy was running around and experiencing it.
Take a souvenir photo on the Tayo Bus
There’s no better way for kids to memorialize their visit to Korea.
There’s even a shoe-free playground for babies to climb on.
After you’ve drawn your own character
button and send it to the
Your character appears on the big screen.
Kids draw all over the place, send them to the big screen, and you’ll see all sorts of characters swimming around in the ocean.
Loah’s mom is bored, so she’s trying VR.
Adults can do it too
There is not much information in English, Chinese, Japanese, etc,
but there are guides everywhere, and it’s not as difficult as you think.
I recommend it as a place to visit while traveling in Korea.
It depends on your child’s personality, but I think you can enjoy it for about an hour and a half.
The restrooms are located inside the experience center and are very well equipped.
Of course, there is also a nursing room.
If you want to get a quick snack, there is a shop near the ticket machine.
You can leave for a while and re-enter again.
Next up, we’ll introduce you to some great places to enjoy K-pop.
Next up is the Hiker Ground!!!
See you next time with Loah!
