It takes about 5 minutes from Exit 5 of Jongno 3-ga Station to the hotel.
There are subway lines 1, 3, and 5.
It takes about 8 minutes from the airport bus stop to the hotel.

I booked a 3 bedroom Deluxe for about $270.

● Hotel lobby, reception and elevator. (Seoul Hotel for 4people)

The hotel lobby has a comfortable atmosphere.

The reception is on the left.

There is a convenience store right in front of the hotel.

There are separate low-floor elevators and high-floor elevators.

The low-floor elevator next to the reception can be used from the 5th basement floor to the 14th floor.

The high-rise elevator on the opposite side serves floors 15 through 23.

Since most hotel facilities are on the second floor,

guests staying in high-floor rooms must go down to the first floor, pass through the lobby, and transfer to the low-floor elevator.

It is a bit inconvenient,

but it also has its advantages. When moving to a room, it goes straight from the first floor to the 15th floor, so it is very fast.

Similarly, low-floor elevators do not go above the 15th floor, so there is less waiting.

You must carry your room key with you

Except for moving to the first floor, if you don’t have your room card, you’ll be a total idiot. Hahaha

You can’t even enter the swimming pool or the gym without a card key.

How to use the elevator

First, hold the sticker on your room card close to the reader.
Press the appropriate floor.
Press Enter.

You will be given two room card keys.

The card is not touch-sensitive

but insertable.

If you insert it and then take it out for a while, the light comes on slightly.

When you enter, the entrance, living room, and kitchen room are well separated by a wall.

The light in the entrance of the room was not very good, so I went in, turned around, and took a picture.

You can see the small hallway from the entrance and the kitchen separated by a wall.

There were many storage units on the right side,

and the indoor slippers were not disposable but regular indoor slippers.

Of course, there were environmental reasons,

but the indoor slippers themselves looked a bit old, which was a shame.

This is the dimmer and various switches on the wall separating the kitchen from the entrance.

It is a central heating and cooling system, and you can slightly reduce the wind speed or set the temperature inside the room.

If it is summer, the air conditioner will keep coming on, but if you set it appropriately, it will stop automatically.

You can control the brightness of the living room through the dimmer.

I reviewed the 3-person room a little while ago, and the living room of the 4-person room is definitely twice as big.

And the TV is on the larger side.

Overall, the furniture and atmosphere are a bit classic at first glance, but is it clean?

It was a 4-person room, but most of the facilities were for 5 people.

The dining table could seat up to 6 people, and there were 3 beds: king, queen, and single.

The first drawer of the sink is amazing!

Sure, Agoda said it was a kitchenette when I booked??

But the kitchen is perfect, right?

The second drawer was also neatly filled with kitchen utensils.

There are various kitchen utensils and utensils in each cabinet.

The sink is very clean,

and there is a dishwasher and microwave.

The refrigerator is also quite large

Looking at the size of the accommodation for a family of 4 in Seoul, I don’t think it’s possible to stay here for 1 night?? ㅎㅎㅎ I think you should stay at least 3 nights

The washing machine in the 3-person room was in the bathroom, but here it’s located in the kitchen?

What’s unfortunate is… there’s no detergent… tirori~

There are 4 gas burners

Sometimes when I use an electric range, I feel a little stuffy, but I like the gas burner!

There is an oven under the gas stove

It really feels like home.

Cups, plates, bowls, pots, frying pans, toasters, rice cookers, etc. are all provided.

When you enter through the door behind the sofa, you will see a wardrobe, a desk, and a chair.

There is a small single bed that I think would be good for teenage son.

It feels cozy.

This is a view from the single bedroom towards the living room, kitchen, and shared bathroom.

The overall living room and kitchen atmosphere is not bad. The living room furniture is a bit classic, but there is no foreign matter or dust.

You can see the second room behind the TV stand.

It clearly says on Agoda that it is a single bed, but it is a queen size.

The bed seems a bit big for the size of the room

The bed doesn’t have a soft mattress, but the blanket and pillow are soft.

There was no dust and no smell at all

There is a large mirrored closet.

There is a bathroom right in front of the second room

The shower booth was very sturdy, so no water leaked out,

and there was no water stains or mold.

The toilet was a regular toilet.

Starting in April 2024, disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste will no longer be provided in Korea.
The law has been enacted in the country.
Instead, shampoo, body shampoo, and body lotion are provided in the bathroom.
It’s a shame that there is no hand soap.

There is a master bathroom right next to it

The toilet here is a bidet, and the shower booth is also quite sturdy and well-installed.

There are two sinks, and body lotion is visible.

Overall, I was impressed with how clean the restrooms were, and there were no odors at all.

I was a little disappointed that there was no hand soap

The bathtub was also cleaned neatly.

Sometimes, when I look at other bathtubs, I see foreign substances or rust where the water goes down,

but there was none here.

Lastly, the master room is the innermost one.

The room was a bit dark overall, so I opened the curtains and the view was so nice and pretty…

Like the triple room, there’s a small TV in the master room here too. Ha Ha Ha

The room was quite large and the bed was king size.

The closet shown in the photo had a safe, hangers, and bathrobes.

The bed was not a soft style, but a firm style that could support some weight.

The blanket and pillow were soft.

There was not a single thread and there was no smell at all.

The triple room was on the 21st floor so the view was great,

but this is on the 6th floor so the view isn’t great.

Depending on the angle, you can see Seoul Tower or the Blue House.

It’s a short hallway from the master bedroom to the living room…

There are really a lot of doors everywhere

It’s a perfect place for kids to play hide-and-seek

It looked old and seemed far from clean,

but surprisingly, it was surprisingly clean.

The furniture is quite classic and gives off a slightly worn-out feeling, but I really recommend it as a family accommodation.

Since it is central heating and cooling, there is a controller in each room.

I booked a 3 bedroom Deluxe for about $270.

● Orakai insadong suites facilities. (Seoul Hotel for 4people)

As I explained earlier, the elevators for high-rise and low-rise are different.

So, for high-rise rooms like ours, we have to go back down to the first floor, pass the lobby or desk, and take the low-rise elevator next to it to the second floor.

It’s a bit inconvenient, but… well… it doesn’t stop at the low floors,

so I like that I don’t have to wait when going up and down the high-rise rooms.

On the second floor, there is a gym, a meeting room, a swimming pool, a kids room, and a breakfast restaurant.

You can think of all the auxiliary facilities as being located on the second floor.

The gym (fitness center)

has a lot of equipment and is cleanly maintained.

Never forget your room card key. Without your room card key,

you can’t go anywhere.

You can’t even take the elevator, and you need your room card key to enter the gym.

You can exercise while looking at the view of Jongno downtown

I can’t explain more in detail because I haven’t tried exercising myself.

There is a children’s playroom next to the Orakai Insadong Suites breakfast restaurant.

It is open from 9am to 8pm.

Well…it is a facility that is ambiguous whether to recommend or not.

Adults are picky and say that there should be more facilities and that it should be cleaner

and there are many requirements!

But Our children run to it with a smile as soon as they see it, like an oasis in the desert

It’s better than nothing

But it’s a little narrow and a little old.

It’s fun to see Japanese kids rolling around and playing, sweating profusely.

Orakai Insadong Suites has all the facilities on the same floor, so it’s easy to see and use.

You can’t enter without a card key.

So you can’t use it before check-in or after check-out.

It says no photography from here.

There were no people at all, so I only took pictures of the lockers.

The lockers are very easy and simple to use. When you close them and enter a number, they automatically lock, and when you enter that number again, they open.

And there are enough towels, and although all the equipment feels a little old, they are definitely well-maintained.

There is no separate sauna or spa, and only three shower rooms are available.

It’s much wider and cleaner than I thought.

The water here is warm,

and the temperature is just right, so much so that I feel like my legs and waist are being tingled with electricity,

so it really feels like my fatigue is gone.

Our Roa is a little over 80cm tall, and the water level was probably around 60cm.

It was enough to walk around.

There is also a small pool with normal temperature

I was a little disappointed that I left my kid’s tube behind because I had a lot of luggage

Sunbeds and towels are free~

And compared to the number of guests, there were significantly fewer people swimming

It seemed like most people were spending their time outside shopping and sightseeing

The hot pool and small pool were about 60cm deep, I think,

and the main one here was written as 1.5 meters,

but I think it was 1.2 meters

There were 2 lifeguards

Of course, the two kept changing, so usually only one was there

If you come to the Orakai Insadong Suites pool with a child, a tube is a must!

Compared to the strict rules,
there were no restrictions on swimming caps.

Life jackets and tubes were required for children, but there were no major restrictions if they were not worn.

The breakfast restaurant is clearly visible from the pool.

I’m looking forward to breakfast tomorrow.

We booked a room with breakfast included.

If you want to pay for breakfast separately, it costs $13.50.

To conclude, I’m not sure whether I recommend breakfast or not.

The menu is made with a small amount of money, so there aren’t many options, but the food tastes good.

Hehehe, it’s a bit disappointing. It’s a hassle to go out in the morning and eat, so I think it’s worth eating.

There are quite a few tables.

We came a little before 8am.

More than I thought There aren’t many people using breakfast.

As soon as you enter, there is water, juice, and coffee on the right.

On the left are milk, tea bags, and honey.

There aren’t many kinds of food

There’s cheese, strawberry jam, butter, etc. on the side.

There is a high chair and baby cutlery

There are no baby spoons and forks, but the yogurt spoon is small enough to use.

The food selection is limited.

The bread was a bit plain, but the rest of the food was okay.

The seaweed soup and spaghetti were especially salty, but they were delicious.

It was so good that I could just eat rice with the seaweed soup.

The restaurant table was very large, but there weren’t many people eating.

Also, breakfast time is until 9:30, but people started coming at 8:30 or 9:00.

Even at 9:30, people came.

There were quite a few families with children,

and most of the guests at the Orakai Insadong Suites breakfast restaurant were foreign tourists.

It took us about 15 minutes to walk from Orakai Insadong Suites to the restaurant with our baby,

I think it would take about 12 minutes for the average person.

Come back to Jongno 3-ga Exit 5

From here, walk straight down the right road

Just keep going straight. Keep going.

After crossing the crosswalk, move to the left.

Walk for about 10 seconds and there will be a small alley on the right

Once you enter here, and again go straight into the first alley on the left

It took about 15 minutes from the hotel to here.

“Janggun Oyster Bossam” It’s really delicious

If you order a medium-sized Bossam set, you will get a small Gamjatang and stir-fried squid.

Pork is softly boiled.

It’s delicious

If it overlaps with the quitting time and dinner hours, there may be a waiting time.

If you order Bossam, Gamjatang will also be served.

The spicy yet tender pork is attractive.

The second item on the menu costs 38,000 won.
Medium size is $28.
It can feed 2~3 people.
Now, let’s go back to Jongno 3-ga Exit 5, which was the starting point.

The night market is spread out from exit 5 to exit 4.

This kind of atmosphere is perfect for those who like alcohol.

It is quite large in scale, so security personnel are setting up separate barricades and providing guidance with light sticks.

It is worth a visit.

There are many trendy restaurants and cafes around Anguk Station.

Onion, in particular, is almost a holy place for tourists.

A great place to eat Korean bread and drinks in a Hanok atmosphere!

It’s a weekday, but the line to get in is crazy.

Oh… It was really hot that day…

It takes about 12 minutes on foot from Orakai Insadong Suites.

If you come out from Exit 3 of Anguk Station and take the first road on the left, you can get there right away.

The long line on the left is for people eating inside, and the right is for takeout or sitting outside.

It was extremely hot and rainy today

So most people are in the left line.

You can have dessert and tea in a beautiful Hanok.

It’s in the middle of the city, but I like spending time comfortably in a cafe with a Korean atmosphere.

There are a lot of Korean breads.

Honestly, I recommend it for the atmosphere rather than the taste.

Family-friendly residence hotel with a swimming pool and close to tourist attractions

The entrance, kitchen, and living room are all well separated by walls.
There was no noise from the hallway or between floors at all.
There is a lot of storage space.
The living room has wooden floors.
Most of the kitchen facilities are new.
The kitchen is equipped with an oven, microwave, large refrigerator, and dishwasher.

A clean sink.
The furniture is classic but clean.
The TV is large.
The bedding was in good condition.
