This free water playgrounds information is still largely unknown even to Koreans.
If you’re traveling to South Korea with kids from June to August, visiting a free water park for kids can be fun for the kids and memorable for the adults.
And it’s free!!!
We went to a free water playground in Gimpo with Loah.
Actually, it’s too fast for a 12-month-old baby to play, but Loah loves the water!
Oh!! Loah’s mom loves water too!

We’ll start at Gimpo Gold Line.
From there, it’s about a 30-minute subway ride and about a 10-minute walk.
The destination is Masan Station. Take Exit 1 here
Go in the direction of the arrow
This place has an elevator for your convenience.
It will take about 3 minutes to get here.
Enter the alley where the cars are now coming out.
Continue walking for about 4 minutes and you will see a grassy area on your left.
That’s Marimi Park.
The water playground is inside Marimi Park.
Now go there
There is always a shortage of parking spaces in Korea.
If you bring a car, you can do this on weekdays, but driving on weekends and holidays is not recommended.
where you can play x-games and
children’s playgrounds, basketball courts, etc.
I can finally see it.
So close.
I’m so surprised that there is such a good space for kids in the neighborhood.
It’s free, the quality is good, and there are even lifeguards!!!
Not many Koreans know about this.
Changing rooms and restrooms.
There’s also a quick shower area next door.
The restroom is for one person, so if there are other people in there, there is a larger restroom next door.
Although it may be difficult for a 12-month-old to play,
Loah is being well cared for by her mom.
There is a shade roof so parents can take a break.
To the right of the shade is a bench.
There aren’t many people here yet, so all the rides are ours hahahaha.
The water is this deep.
A baby can stand and walk around.
Little by little, foreigners are coming.
In fact, I wasn’t sure if I should introduce this place or not.
It’s a place that not many Koreans know about,
and I didn’t think it was a place to introduce to people traveling to Korea,
When I thought about parents traveling with children, I thought that children might not enjoy the hanbok experience, food experience, and shopping.
It would be nice to provide information for children as well.
We made this decision.
The caveat here is that the
- It starts at 13:00 and lasts 40 minutes. There is a 20-minute break afterward.
- If you don’t have aqua shoes, you can go barefoot.
- Specialized swimwear, such as a rash guard, is required.
- Very young babies need a waterproof diaper.
- No food or drink.
- A towel and change of clothes are required.
- Don’t make loud noises or do anything offensive.
If you’re planning to visit, it’s a good idea to stock up on waterproof diapers and water playing tubes at a big box store or Daiso beforehand.
Every once in a while, like today, I’ll recommend a place for travelers’ kids.
How did you like the water playground with Loah?
Next time, I’ll introduce you to more cool places.
See you next time!
Oh!! Nearby is the world’s largest cafe, which is in the Guinness Book of World Records.
