Take the fastest high-speed train, A-rex, from the airport, and then

come to Seoul Road 7017.

The Voco Seoul Myeongdong hotel’s lobby is bright and casual.

There is a large cafe and convenience store on the first floor of the hotel, so it feels like anyone can easily come in.

There are three front desks on the right side, and many staff are there to serve guests.

Overall, it has a young and bright feel.

The staff were very fluent in explaining to guests in English and Chinese.

The sofa in front of the front desk was a comfortable sofa in Voco’s unique colors.

Most people were talking or

Voco Seoul Myeongdong Check-in time is 3pm and check-out time is 12pm.

I was assigned to the 20th floor!

The room number I’m going to show you today is 2036.

As soon as I entered, I could see the spacious and clean room.

On the left is a small kitchen and sofa.

On the right is the bedroom and main bathroom!

The bed was king size.

I really liked the mattress on the bed, so I asked the hotel.

They said it was a Simmons product made by the hotel!!

When I lay on the bed, I could see the Seoul Tower very well.

The TV was a bit small compared to the room.

It was not a smart TV.

The view was really good,

but the picture showed the Seoul Tower very small, which was a shame.

A little further to the right is the main bathroom with a safe, a robe, and an iron.

There were 4 robes.

The indoor slippers are disposable indoor slippers.

They are not thick, but they are made of good material.

There is a booth with a bidet right next to it.

There was a shower booth next to it.

There were two sinks in front, and body lotion and hand wash were prepared.

Since Korean hotels will not provide disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste from April 2024, please purchase them in advance.

There were no special amenities, but the dryer worked very well.

The drainage around the bathtub is well-maintained, so
it is okay if water flows outside.

The view is so nice that “Loah” is enjoying the view~

We move back to the bedroom and then to the living room.

This is a nice sofa that shows off voco’s colors.

I personally don’t like fabric materials, but the sofa here was very clean.

And one of the features of this room!

The soundproofing is very good, and the curtains completely block the sunlight.

The floor is marble.

The refrigerator is large.

All juices and sodas inside are free.

Although it has a residence format, it is ambiguous to call it a residence.

There is an electric range, but no utensils.

A total of 8 bottles of water are provided, 4 inside the refrigerator and 4 outside.

Small crackers are also provided.

Capsule coffee, Earl Grey, and Rooibos tea bags are also provided.

However, there are cooking facilities, but no cooking utensils at all.

There were only cups and wine glasses.

There is a second bathroom right next to it.

There is only a sink and a bidet.

Like the main bathroom, there are plenty of towels here.

If you want to enjoy a quiet and relaxing time in a suite, I recommend it.

However, it would have been better if there was one more bed!

There’s a GS25 right next to the elevator, so you don’t have to go outside.

TwosomePlace Cafe is conveniently located on the left as soon as you enter the lobby on the first floor.

On the other hand, on the right side there is a front desk and a sofa.

The hotel lobby was quite free, so it was comfortable to sit down on the sofa and rest for a while.

There is a Burger King next to TwosomePlace cafe

The hotel building is well-equipped with basic facilities

The hotel itself is comfortable and has a very casual feel.

● 2nd floor (Voco Seoul Myeongdong suite Hotel)

If you enter through the back door of the hotel from the hotel parking lot, you can enter the hotel’s second floor.

There is another front desk, probably for group tourists, etc.

Anyway, I don’t think they serve individuals

● 3rd floor (Voco Seoul Myeongdong suite Hotel)

There is a banquet hall, conference room, fitness center and swimming pool.

It’s not that big, but

it has everything you need, and it’s newly renovated, so the equipment is pretty clean.

Both the pool and the gym require a guest card to enter.

We went there an hour and a half before the pool closing time and there was no one there.

If this is a tip, then it is a tip..

There is no lock on the locker

At the time, I had expensive items, but I didn’t know that the locker didn’t have a lock

Even the information desk said they wouldn’t take it,,,,

I ended up taking it into the pool haha

I thought of the relaxing jacuzzi at Orakai Suites in Insadong, Jongno last time, but this is not the case

A swimming cap was a must!

If you don’t have one, they will lend you one.

They said that tubes of this size are prohibited

Fortunately, it was before closing time, so there was no one,

so I used it only when there were no other guests.

If you come with children, I think you should avoid using tubes like this.

The pool wasn’t that big

Maybe.. if 4~5 teams come, it’ll be a bit noisy?

But most of the guests are foreigners, so they don’t seem to be very interested in swimming

It seems like a good place for people who like water! Our Loah also likes water, so we had fun until closing time!

There is a club lounge on the 18th floor

I visited without much expectation.

It may look like the door is closed, but it is open. Hahaha

🌞Daytime

The view of Seoul Tower was very Nice

It was a place with a warm feeling and a quiet atmosphere.

When I told the staff my room number, they guided me to the seat I wanted.

During the day you can have simple desserts and drinks.

There were a few chocolates and two kinds of cookies prepared.

There were two kinds of cookies prepared, chocolate chip cookies and damier cookies.

They are nothing special and taste ordinary.

I like the lounge, it’s very calming and has a nice atmosphere

The view was really nice throughout the hotel.

I was able to get juices, various carbonated drinks, coffee, and tea.

The tea was like AltHous, but it felt really strong.

Loah has never eaten cookies and chocolates that adults eat, but

since we travel often, I have no choice but to open them one by one for the child…haha

I liked the lounge more than I thought

The quality of the food is high.

There weren’t many people so it was quiet and easy to eat.

I don’t usually show videos,,,, but today my child was crying a lot, so I played the video for her.

You can enjoy the alcoholic beverages such as Seonbi, Glenfiddich, and wines that you can drink without any problems.

This is my first time drinking the Korean brand Seonbi here, but the taste and aroma of Seonbi “jin” are still vivid.

Usually, I can drink whiskey, cognac, etc. without any problems, but the moment I drink gin, I feel a little shaken….

This is my first time trying Seoul Lager,

but it has a slight orange flavor, which is nice.

In general, there were a lot of foods that went well with alcohol, so I couldn’t help but enjoy drinking alcohol, which I don’t usually do.

Available from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM,

The atmosphere was casual, fitting the hotel’s mood.

There were a lot of tables for two, and there weren’t that many breakfast guests.

There are many tables and the food corner is well-arranged and concentrated in a narrow space.

There was a unique Korean bibimbap corner because there were a lot of foreign tourists.

If you go to the left of the hotel, you will see Exit 3 of Hoehyeon Station, and Seoulro 7017-gil is naturally formed in the middle of the road.

It takes 1 minute from the hotel to here.

The most comfortable service to arrive!

Now you can see Seoul by walking along 7017 Street for about 10 minutes.

The path is well-made, so it’s okay to pull a stroller or Luggage.

I think a wheelchair would be fine.

If you walk for about 10 minutes, you will see Seoul Station.

It would be fun to go to Seoul Station from here and look around!

But we had a tight schedule so we went back.

Actually, Loah wanted to ride this trampoline, but

They said it will be closed from the end of November to mid-April next year.

It took 2 minutes from the Voco Seoul Myeongdong suite to here.

Children’s clothing street just started

The “Burden” “Poki” children’s clothing wholesale store that I visited when I was a baby is still there.

Even if you go without thinking much about it, you’ll probably want to buy good quality clothes at low prices!

The quality is good

It’s good quality and costs between $4 and $10, so it’s not a burden.

I bought one t-shirt for 4 dollars.

This is a great deal for $6!

🕋 Shinsegae Department Store & Myeongdong

Across from the Currency Museum is Shinsegae Department Store, and across from it is Myeongdong.

Since this article is a hotel review, I will not go into detail about Myeongdong, but will just briefly explain and end.

You know the Shinsegae Department Store media façade, it’s so famous, right?

Especially on the day we went, it was just before Christmas, so we were able to see the Christmas media façade from 5:30 PM to 10 PM.

It’s so beautiful that not only tourists but also Koreans are lining up to take pictures and videos.

The Christmas media façade will be on display until the end of January, so it might be worth a visit.
